Questions
Is this a course?
No. This is the toolbox. If you want the teaching behind it — carriers, packing, tariffs and the American doorstep — that is the Shipping Japan to the USA course. The kit is what you open on the day you actually ship.
Are the HS codes official?
The first six digits are the international Harmonized System, shared by Japan and the United States. We list the headings stationery makers actually need, in plain language. Final classification of an unusual product is always your call — the kit tells you when to ask your carrier.
Will the invoice satisfy customs?
It carries every field a commercial invoice is asked for: both parties, description, HS code, origin, quantity, unit and total value, freight, reason for export and a declaration line to sign. Print three copies and put them in the pouch.
Does it work for Etsy orders?
Yes. Etsy handles the sale; the customs paperwork is still yours. Paste the buyer's address into the consignee block and the document is done in under a minute.
