Refunds & Cancellations

1. 14-day guarantee on one-time purchases

Studios bought as a one-time purchase (¥9,800 each: Cost & Price, Visibility, Export and Wholesale) come with a 14-day refund guarantee. If the product isn't the right fit, email inaristationery@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase with your order ID and we will refund you in full. You do not have to explain why. Access ends when the refund is issued.

2. After 14 days

After 14 days, one-time purchases are non-refundable because the digital content has been delivered in full. If something is broken, misdescribed or you were charged twice, contact us — we will fix it or refund you regardless of the date.

3. The Commons membership

The Commons is billed monthly at ¥9,800, or ¥6,800 per month for founding-cohort members — a rate held for the lifetime of that subscription. Cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

When a membership ends, access to the studio tools ends, but your account and all of your data stay exactly as they are, and export remains available indefinitely. If you cancel and rejoin later, you pay whatever the price is at that time. We do not pro-rate part-months, but if you cancel within 14 days of a renewal you did not intend, tell us and we will refund it.

4. Consulting and 1:1 sessions

Consulting bookings can be rescheduled free of charge with 48 hours' notice. Cancellations more than 7 days before the session are refunded in full; within 7 days, 50%; within 48 hours or for a no-show, no refund. If we have to cancel, you get a full refund or a new time, your choice.

5. How refunds are paid

Refunds are issued by Paddle, our merchant of record, back to the original payment method. Banks usually post the money within 5–10 business days. Any sales tax, VAT or Japanese consumption tax charged is refunded with the purchase price.

6. Japanese statutory rights (特定商取引法 / 消費者契約法)

Under Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions, digital content delivered immediately online is generally not subject to cooling-off (クーリングオフ). Our 14-day guarantee is a voluntary policy that goes beyond what the law requires. Your rights under the Consumer Contract Act — for example to rescind a contract entered into because of a misleading statement — are unaffected by this policy. 7. U.S. statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under U.S. federal or state consumer protection law, including chargeback rights with your card issuer. We ask that you contact us first — direct refunds are faster than a dispute.

8. How to request a refund

Email inaristationery@gmail.com with the subject "Refund", the email address used at checkout and your Paddle order ID (on your receipt). We acknowledge within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5 business days.
